Growth Partner Terms

Last updated September 8, 2026

The short version: you earn 2% of every job done by someone you introduce — the homeowner, the provider, or both — for 365 days from their first job. Paid monthly once you reach $5.00. There is nothing to buy, and nothing pays you for recruiting other Partners.

These are the terms of participation. They apply from the moment you are approved.

1. What this program is

The FixlyPros Growth Partner Program pays a commission to approved participants (“Partners”) who introduce new customers and new service providers to the FixlyPros platform. It is operated by Kemp Tech, LLC, doing business as FixlyPros.

A Partner receives a unique referral code. When someone reaches FixlyPros through that code and creates an account, that account is attributed to the Partner. When an attributed account completes a paid job on the platform, the Partner earns a share of that job’s value, for a limited period.

Partners are independent contractors marketing a service. They are not employees, agents, franchisees, or joint venturers of FixlyPros, and they are not authorized to speak or contract on FixlyPros’s behalf.

2. Eligibility

To participate you must:

  • be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract;
  • be a resident of, and eligible to work as an independent contractor in, the United States;
  • hold a FixlyPros account in good standing;
  • be able to receive payment through our payment processor (see Payment); and
  • be approved through the application process below.

Service providers on FixlyPros may participate. Being a Partner does not change how you are treated as a provider, and provider earnings are entirely separate from Partner commissions.

Employees and contractors of FixlyPros, and their immediate households, are not eligible.

3. Application and approval

Participation is by application and is not automatic.

  1. You submit an application. A referral code is generated for your account at this point but is inactive and is not shown to you.
  2. We review the application. Review is discretionary; we are not obliged to approve any application or to give reasons for a decision.
  3. On approval, your code becomes active and your Partner materials are unlocked.
OutcomeWhat it means
More information neededThe most common outcome. Edit and resubmit; there is no waiting period.
DeclinedYou may reapply after one month (30 days).
BarredPermanent. Reserved for suspected fraud. This decision is final and does not reopen.

One application per account. A second submission surfaces your existing application rather than creating a new one.

Codes are permanent and are never reissued. A code that has been generated is never released, reassigned, or reused — including a code from a declined or barred application. This is so that historical attribution stays unambiguous.

4. Referral materials

On approval you gain access to a Partner kit: your referral link, a QR code, and digital assets. Physical materials may also be offered.

  • Physical material requests are reviewed individually and are approved at our discretion. We may set limits on quantity and frequency, and may decline a request.
  • A self-purchase option is available at cost in addition to whatever is provided free.
  • Materials remain our property in respect of the trademarks and artwork on them. You may use them to promote FixlyPros under these terms and for no other purpose.
  • You may not alter FixlyPros branding, produce your own FixlyPros-branded material, or represent that material is official unless we supplied it.

5. How referrals are attributed

Attribution is determined automatically and is not negotiable after the fact.

  • First touch wins. If someone visits through more than one Partner’s code before signing up, the first code they arrived through is the one that counts.
  • The referral window is 90 days. A visit must result in account creation within 90 days for attribution to occur.
  • Attribution happens once, at account creation, and is permanent. An account is attributed to at most one Partner, for the life of the account. It cannot be transferred, reassigned, or claimed later.
  • Existing users cannot be referred. Someone who already had a FixlyPros account before clicking your code is not attributable to you, regardless of the code they used.
  • QR scans and link clicks are the same thing. How someone reached us does not affect what you earn.
  • An inactive code still works as a link. A code that has not been approved, or that belongs to a closed program, sends visitors to FixlyPros normally but records no attribution.

Our records of clicks, attributions, and completed jobs are the authoritative record for all calculations under these terms.

6. What you earn

A Partner earns 2% of the value of each qualifying job completed by an attributed account, per attributed side of that job.

The precise mechanics:

  • The basis is the job’s list price — what the customer was quoted for the service, before any credit-card surcharge, tax, or adjustment. It is not the total amount charged.
  • A job has two sides: the customer who booked it and the provider who performed it. If you referred both, you earn on both — 2% for each, on the same job. If you referred one, you earn on that one.
  • Earning starts when a job completes. A referral that signs up and never books earns nothing. There is no payment for registrations, clicks, scans, or applications.
  • The earning period is 365 days, running from the first job on which that referral earns you a commission — not from the date they signed up.
  • The rate and basis are fixed at the moment each commission is recorded. If we change the program’s rate later, commissions already earned are unaffected.

There is no bonus, tier, multiplier, or escalation of any kind. The rate is flat and does not increase with volume.

There is no compensation for recruiting other Partners. You earn only from the customers and providers you introduce to the platform, and only when they complete real jobs. Nothing in this program pays you for enrolling, referring, or sponsoring another Partner, and no part of your earnings derives from anyone else’s recruitment activity.

7. What you do not earn on

  • Jobs you buy yourself. You earn nothing on a job where you are the customer, even if you referred the provider who performed it.
  • Jobs completed after your 365-day earning period for that referral has ended.
  • Refunded jobs. If a job is refunded in full, any commission on it is reversed. If it had already been paid to you, the amount is deducted from your next payment or otherwise recovered.
  • Jobs completed while your participation is suspended, declined, or barred.
  • Anything arising from prohibited conduct under Conduct.

8. Payment

  • Commissions are paid on a monthly cycle, subject to a minimum balance of $5.00. A balance below the minimum carries forward.
  • Payment is made through our payment processor to a payout account you set up and control. You are responsible for the accuracy of those details.
  • A valid tax form is required before your first payment. You can earn commissions and see your balance without one; you cannot be paid until it is complete. Tax information is collected and verified by our payment processor, not stored by us.
  • Commissions are reported as nonemployee compensation on IRS Form 1099-NEC where the reporting threshold is met. If you are also a service provider on FixlyPros, your provider income and your Partner commissions are reported separately, and you may receive more than one form. This is correct and expected.
  • You are solely responsible for any taxes owed on what you earn.
  • Reversals may produce a negative balance. A refund that reverses an already-paid commission is recovered from future earnings, or is repayable on request if there are none. A reversal is dated when it happens and does not alter a prior year’s reported total.

9. Independent contractor status

You participate as an independent contractor. Nothing in this program creates employment, agency, partnership, or a joint venture.

Specifically, and by design:

  • There are no required hours, no schedule, and no minimum activity.
  • There are no quotas, targets, or performance obligations. Nothing is assigned to you.
  • There are no prescribed scripts or mandated methods. How you introduce people to FixlyPros is yours to decide, within the limits in Conduct.
  • You supply your own equipment and bear your own costs.
  • You are free to promote other services, including competing ones.
  • Either side may end the relationship at any time.

Any incentive we offer is an opportunity available to you, never an instruction, an assignment, or a condition of continued participation.

10. Earnings disclaimer

We do not promise, project, or guarantee that you will earn anything.

Participation in this program is not an offer of employment, a business opportunity with a represented rate of return, or an investment. Whether you earn anything at all depends on factors outside our control and outside yours: whether the people you introduce choose to create accounts, whether they choose to book or accept work, what those jobs are worth, and whether they do so within your earning period.

Many Partners will earn nothing. Any figure shown in an example, an illustration, a calculator, or a marketing communication is an arithmetic demonstration of how the commission is calculated, not a representation of typical or expected earnings, and should not be relied on as one.

You should not incur costs, purchase materials, or make commitments in the expectation of commission income from this program.

11. Conduct

You are responsible for how you promote FixlyPros. The following are prohibited and may result in suspension, forfeiture of unpaid commissions, or barring:

  • Fabricated or self-dealt demand. Creating accounts, or arranging for accounts to be created, to generate commissions on jobs that are not genuine transactions between real, unrelated parties.
  • Misrepresenting FixlyPros — our pricing, our services, our providers, the terms of this program, or your relationship to us. You may not claim to represent, speak for, or be employed by FixlyPros.
  • Unsolicited bulk messaging. Spam email, SMS, or messaging in violation of any applicable law or platform policy.
  • Impersonation of FixlyPros, of a FixlyPros employee, or of another Partner; and use of FixlyPros branding in any way we have not authorized.
  • Paid search or advertising on FixlyPros’s brand terms, or any advertising that could be mistaken for an official FixlyPros channel.
  • Incentivizing signups by offering cash, rebates, or rewards for creating an account, as distinct from genuinely recommending the service.
  • Deceptive placement — codes on material that misrepresents its origin, or distribution that breaches property rules, local ordinances, or the terms of any platform you post on.
  • Any activity that is unlawful, or that damages the reputation of FixlyPros or its providers.

We may withhold payment pending investigation where we reasonably suspect a breach, and may reverse commissions found to arise from one.

12. Suspension, termination, and program closure

You may leave at any time, for any reason, by telling us. Commissions already earned and not arising from a breach remain payable.

We may suspend or end your participation at any time, with or without cause, on notice. Where we end participation without cause, commissions already earned remain payable. Where we end it for a breach of Conduct, unpaid commissions arising from that breach are forfeit.

We may close the program. We reserve the right to stop accepting applications, to stop issuing codes, and to wind the program down in whole or in part — including in particular geographic areas while continuing elsewhere.

If we close the program:

  • Existing attributions are honored to their natural expiry. Referrals already attributed to you continue to earn for the remainder of their 365-day earning period on the terms in force when they were attributed. We do not cancel earning periods that have already begun.
  • We will give at least 30 days’ notice before closure takes effect, except where immediate closure is required by law.
  • Your existing materials keep working as links. Codes continue to resolve and send visitors to FixlyPros indefinitely; they simply stop creating new attributions. Nothing you have already distributed becomes a broken link.
  • Balances below the payout minimum at closure are paid out regardless of the minimum.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you, and apply to referrals attributed after that date — except where a change is required by law or by our payment processor, which may take effect immediately. A change to the commission rate does not affect commissions already recorded, and does not change the rate applying to attributions you already hold for the remainder of their earning period.

Continuing to participate after a change takes effect means you accept it.

14. Data

We process personal data under our Privacy Policy.

You will see aggregate information about your referrals’ activity — counts, attributed volume, and commissions. You will not be given your referrals’ personal information, and you must not attempt to obtain it. Anyone you introduce to FixlyPros is our customer or provider, not your contact, and their relationship with us is governed by our own terms and privacy policy.

If you handle anyone’s personal information in the course of promoting FixlyPros, you are responsible for doing so lawfully.

15. General

  • Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of this program is limited to the commissions payable to you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunity, or costs you incur in promoting FixlyPros.
  • No assignment. Your participation, your code, and your commissions are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred, or assigned.
  • Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this program will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, seated in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.
  • Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stands.
  • Entire agreement. These terms, with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement on this subject and replace any prior understanding.
